What types of inclusions can I send?

We accept ashes, breastmilk, umbilical cord, placenta, hair or fur, dried flowers, fabric, buttons, pregnancy tests, and other small keepsakes. We can encapsulate almost anything! If you’re unsure whether your inclusion is suitable, feel free to reach out and we’ll be happy to guide you.

How much of each inclusion do you need?

Ashes: About ½ teaspoon
Breastmilk: 10ml (double-bagged and frozen if possible)
Hair/Fur: A small lock or a few strands
Other inclusions: Only a small amount is usually needed—we’ll return anything unused with your keepsake delivery.

How do I send my inclusions?

Will any unused inclusions be returned?

Yes. We will return any unused materials with your completed piece.

What materials is your jewellery made from?

We only use the highest quality materials that have been ethically sourced. All of our jewellery is made using 925 sterling silver or 14k gold filled components—never plated. These materials are chosen for their beauty, durability, and timelessness.

What’s the difference between solid gold and gold filled?

Solid gold is pure and the most valuable, but it comes with a much higher price point. Gold filled is a wonderful budget-friendly alternative—it consists of a thick layer of solid gold bonded to a base metal. Unlike gold plated, gold filled contains significantly more gold and is much more durable, tarnish-resistant, and hypoallergenic. It offers the luxurious look and feel of solid gold at a fraction of the cost.

Will my resin stone yellow over time?

We only use the highest quality jeweller-grade resin, which is designed to prolong the clarity and life of your piece. However, all resin has the potential to yellow over time due to environmental factors such as heat, UV exposure, and chemicals. Following our care instructions closely is essential and will significantly reduce the chances of yellowing or damage.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, we offer a 6 month guarantee on all of our stones, provided that the care instructions have been followed. This covers any faults in materials or craftsmanship. Please note this does not include damage caused by mishandling, exposure to water, chemicals, or dropping your piece.

How long does it take to receive my custom piece?

Turnaround time typically begins once we receive your inclusions. Most pieces are completed within 6 weeks, though this may vary depending on the requested material or for more complex designs. Timeframes can extend to 12 weeks if special order materials are required.

Can I choose the colour or design of my jewellery?

Yes! You will be required to fill in a customisation form detailing your choice of colours and design. You are welcome to include inspiration photos. Once we receive your inclusions, we may contact you to confirm preferences for colours, shimmers, flecks, or other design elements. Please remember each piece is one-of-a-kind and designed with your story in mind. Tiny bubbles, bumps and slight imperfections are 100% normal due to the handcrafted nature. All colours will vary depending on your choice of inclusions. Ashes and breastmilk vary in colour and this will naturally change the appearance of your stone.

Is it safe to send something so personal in the mail?

We completely understand the sentimental value of your inclusions. That’s why we recommend sending them via registered or tracked post. Once received, your items are handled with the highest level of care and respect throughout the entire process. If you are local to the Newcastle, NSW area and would prefer to hand deliver your inclusions, this can be arranged.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! Each country has specific customs regulations. If you have specific questions, please reach out.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we do! A gift card is a beautiful way to give someone the opportunity to create their own deeply meaningful keepsake. Gift cards are available for purchase on our website.

Can I include a note or photo with my order?

Absolutely. Many customers include photos, letters, or special notes. While they’re not included in the piece itself, they help us understand your story and we treat them with care and confidentiality. With your permission, we can also share your story to social media to honour your loved one, however this is not required if you would prefer not to.

Will my silver tarnish over time?

All 925 sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time due to exposure to air, moisture, and body oils. This is completely normal and not a defect. Tarnishing can easily be removed using a silver polishing cloth, and you can slow the process by:

  • Storing your jewellery in an airtight container or soft pouch
  • Avoiding exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and chemicals
  • Following the care instructions provided with your piece

Proper care will keep your jewellery looking beautiful for years to come.
