How to Send Your Inclusions
Sending your inclusions to The Memory Collective is simple, safe, and secure. Every parcel is treated with the utmost care and respect, as we understand the emotional value these materials hold. It is important not to send us the "last of" any inclusions as theres always a small risk that something could be lost or damaged during transit.
Ashes
Place about ½ teaspoon into a sealed snap-lock bag. Label it with your full name and order number. Then place it inside a second sealed bag for extra protection. Ensure as much air as possible is removed from the bags to avoid bag breakage in transit.
Breastmilk
Collect 15ml of breastmilk in a sterile syringe or breastmilk storage bag. Please ensure that the breastmilk is in a sterile bag or syringe (with cap) so that the milk does not spoil in the post. Freeze the milk and place in another ziplock bag and then another ziplock bag. Ensure the breastmilk milk is triple bagged and that as much air as possible is removed from the bags to ensure there are no spillages/burst bags while in transit. Label clearly with your name and order number.
Hair or Fur
Tie the strands and place inside a labelled envelope or zip-lock bag.
Clothing or Fabric
Cut a 3x3cm piece from a clean section. Seal in a labelled zip-lock bag.
Pregnancy Test
Ensure dry. Wrap in tissue and seal in a labelled zip-lock bag. We only need the window area or lid.
Umbilical Cord / Placenta
Fully dried, 0.5cm piece, sealed in a labelled bag or container. If your placenta has been encapsulated you can send 1x capsule in a ziplock bag.
Dried Flowers
Send 1–2 petals only. Gently wrap and label to avoid damage.

- Only a small amount is needed—unused materials can be returned.
- Make sure items are clearly labelled and securely packaged.
- Turnaround time begins once inclusions are received.
- Please don’t send us “the last” of any of your special inclusions.
